To cap the 40th Anniversary festivities of our parish, St Mary’s is holding a Concert for Peace called “Swords to Ploughshares”. This production ties in closely with the theme of the celebrations – Restore My Church. And the element of Peace and Reconciliation is certainly a vital part of this very Franciscan restoration. For without Peace, we have little.

A Franciscan Scouts Special Project: 1 STAR Kayaking Proficiency Course Sat-Sun, 4-5 Sep | 10am - 5pm | Sarimbun Scout Camp
The Franciscan Scouts will be organising a 1 STAR Kayaking Proficiency Course for the parish. This course will equip participants with the basic skills needed to kayak proficiently. A certificate will be awarded to successful participants upon completion of the course. This course is a pre-requisite in order to participate in the year end Franciscan Scout Kayaking Expedition.
We are calling on all who have a passion for the outdoors and are seeking to try out and learn a new sport to register their interest with us!
