Saint of the Day

St. Peter Damian dedicated his life to the purification of the Church and to the defence of the papacy. He was born the youngest of a large, poor family in Ravenna, Italy, in 1007. Orphaned at a young age, he did remarkably well in his studies and, at 25, was a famous teacher at Parma and Ravenna.Unable to endure the scandals and distractions of university life, he decided to join a hermitage. He became known for his fervent faith and, in 1043, he became prior until his death.Although living in a cloister, Peter watched the Church closely and strove for her purification. Intercessory prayer

We have our intercessory prayer session every last Friday of the month where we will pray for the intentions of our brothers and sisters in this community. We will be having a spiritual input, followed by praying the rosary for the needs of the community. You are more than welcome to join us.

Our next intercessory prayer session will be on 29th Jan 2010, 8pm at San Damiano chapel.

Please contact Priscilla or use our contact form for more information :)

Praise and worship practice

Music

Happy new year everybody! And the worship practice is back after a long holiday!

We usually have our praise and worship practice every Friday night where we will practice the songs for the prayer meeting on Saturday. Join us for a session of singing and thanksgiving.

But for this week, there won't be any practice as we are having our outing! Yea. So you're invited to prepare your food and pack up your gears to prepare for the outing this Saturday. See you there.
