Interceding for Peace in the Middle-East

His Holiness, Pope Francis has issued a call to the Universal Church to pray and fast for an end to the Israel-Hamas war.

In solidarity with the Universal Church, His Eminence William Cardinal Goh urges all the Faithful to offer a day of prayer and fasting for peace in Israel and Palestine on this Friday, 27th October.

Let us sincerely plead for the Lord’s mercy and forgiveness, for the atrocities committed against the Lord’s commandment to love one another, for wisdom and calm to prevail among leaders of nations, and for the millions who are suffering intolerable pain – from the loss of loved ones, to the deprivation of the basic necessities of life, and the anxiety and uncertainty of life and death.
