Outreach

The Outreach Office at St Mary of the Angels is here to support you or whom you know may be in need. Whether it is financial, social or psychological support, we will assist to match you with the right support.

Interventive Outreach Groups

“Only a gaze transformed by charity can enable the dignity of others to be recognised and, as a consequence, the poor to be acknowledged and valued in their dignity, respected in their identity and culture, and thus truly integrated into society.” (Fratelli Tutti, No. 187)

These are groups involved in the direct intervention work and support of those in need of help. Some groups provide the assistance regularly, while some may periodically render the necessary help. For more details, click into the respective groups to learn more.

Night Mission 🔝

The Night Mission is an initiative from Catholic Welfare Services. It came about after much feedback from some of our homeless clients that there were others like them staying in the streets.

Volunteers from Night Mission have been ‘walking the streets' on Friday nights since the first Night Mission began on Friday 30th May 2014 and has continued until today.

Every Friday, volunteers hand out food, talk to rough sleepers and learn from everyone's stories. After earning their trust, we offer them a listening ear, and the possibility of helping them out of their plight. To find out more or to join us, email to outreach.stmary@catholic.org.sg.
