Please be aware of Phishing emails & SMS. They are scams, fake and fraudulent.

There are various types of Phishing emails that look authentic, especially those from your own contact list. If you have received such emails (supposedly from Friar Mike, or anyone else in your contact list), please ignore them.

How to tell a Phishing email from an authentic one:

(1) Check the sender’s email address. (Eg. it could be mis-spelt as "michael.stmaryy@gmail.com"). The email should not come from a Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, or other personal account.

(2) Phishing scams may ask for personal or confidential information, money, or bank account access. Never provide this information!

(3) It is common for these scams to have poor grammar and spelling errors.

What to do if you receive a phishing email:

(1) Do not reply to the email or contact the sender in any way.
(2) Do not open any attachments or click on any links.
(3) Ignore and delete it immediately.

There should be strictly no solicitation of church donations via email or social media.

All donations to Church of St Mary of the Angels is via the PayNow UEN Number published at: www.stmary.sg/give.
