St Mary’s Archangels was incorporated in early 2022 to encourage more parishioners to participate in on-site church activities after the COVID-19 pandemic. Mothers’ Day Fun Shoot on 7th May started the ball rolling!

The initiative aimed at helping to foster fellowship, promote a sense of community and shared values. It also serves as a value-add to the Church’s range of activities.

By training more archery instructors - including those involved in catechism classes - our aim is to expand the activities to more church groups and ministries. This will provide another avenue to develop personal discipline, self-awareness, mindfulness and perseverance in the practice of faith. Through reflections, talks and meditative workshops which focus on Christ-centred values, this will also help in setting spiritual goals.

As of 6 December 2023, the Archangels Archery Club has been registered as an official society which allows those who are interested in pursuing archery as a sport to participate in competitions organised by Archery Association of Singapore (AAS) and other affiliated clubs.
