Couple Empowerment Programme

The Couple Empowerment Programme (CEP) is an Archdiocesan-approved Post-Marriage Catechesis and formation programme based on Catholic Church teachings. CEP addresses common marital issues that plague modern day marriages and incorporates life skills designed by modern day marriage sociologists, psychologists and psychiatrists.

Our presentations feature deep and personal sharings of couples who have struggled through difficult issues and come out stronger as they grow in faith and learn to place Christ at the centre of their marriage.

Structure of Programme

The main programme consists of 10 sessions over a 9 week period, after which, couples can choose to journey together in smaller groups in our Couple Community Circles (CCCs). CCCs meet monthly for spiritual input and fellowship and provide an avenue for couples to support one another in a close knit community of like-minded Catholic couples.

CEP also conducts monthly Men’s Ministry and Women’s Ministry meetings so that issues can be more targeted and discussed at a deeper level amongst husbands and wives.
