A Gentle & Quiet Lent

Our lives in recent years have been on a relentless cycle of continuous adjustments and disruptions. Many have grown weary with prolonged uncertainty of the future. And with the return to normalcy, we scramble yet again to keep up. We need an interior disposition of silence to allow ourselves to listen to God.

"Be still, and know that I am God.”
– Psalm 46:10

We are called to take time to pause and reflect. It reminds us that God is still in control no matter what happens in our lives.

This Lent, let us take a step away from the busyness and noise of our lives, quieten our hearts and BE STILL, allowing ourselves to rest in the Lord, so that God may speak to us. Here at St Mary's, we are creating this this space and we invite you to participate in these special Lenten programmes on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays where we can encounter God through art, music, prayer and contemplation.

Spend some time in adoration and in quiet contemplation before the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. These sessions will be guided.

& Fellowship @Piazza

After journeying through the Stations of the Cross, come together as a community for fellowship and to share a simple meal.
