Remembering Pope Francis in Singapore

Pope Francis’ visit to Singapore was a moment of grace and deep inspiration for our archdiocese and nation. His presence brought a sense of peace and unity, as thousands gathered to hear his words and witness his joyful spirit. Through his gentleness and wisdom, he touched hearts and renewed faith across generations.

During his time in Singapore, he reminded us that “Without love, we are nothing”, reminding us to live out the Gospel with humility, love and action. He called us to live courageously, to reach across divisions with compassion and dialogue. To be voices for the voiceless, to care for the vulnerable, and to be a light of hope in the world.

Now, as we mourn his passing, we give thanks for the extraordinary gift of his life and leadership. His visit to Singapore will forever remain a treasured memory, a moment when he walked among us and showed us the face of Christ. May he rest in the eternal peace of the Lord whom he served so faithfully, and may his legacy continue to guide and inspire us.
